It is a \u20ac200 one-time fee that gives you a plot of land, a place in a 500-person community, and \u2014 if you want it \u2014 a box of food every three weeks. The solar financing is a completely separate thing, with separate documentation, separate regulation and separate money.<\/p>\n<p>You can be a member without ever investing. You can invest without ever becoming a member. Neither requires the other.<\/p>\n<h2>What \u20ac200 Actually Buys<\/h2>\n<p>A one-time payment of <strong>\u20ac200<\/strong> makes you a Solar Plus Garden community member. That gets you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A 3\u00d73&nbsp;metre plot<\/strong> on the Solar Plus Garden site, cultivated in your name.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Community access<\/strong> \u2014 barbecues, workshops, educational visits, family days on the site.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Free coffee on site<\/strong>, which sounds trivial and turns out not to be, because it means the site is somewhere you can actually turn up and spend an afternoon.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A place among 500<\/strong>. The plot count is capped by the land available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is no monthly fee attached to membership itself. The \u20ac200 is paid once \u2014 and it is <strong>only charged if the project goes ahead<\/strong>. Registering your interest today costs nothing.<\/p>\n<h2>Your Plot \u2014 and Why It Has Three Zones<\/h2>\n<p>Your 3\u00d73&nbsp;metre plot sits on land that is doing two jobs at once. This is <strong>agrivolta\u00efsme<\/strong>: solar panels above, food growing below and around them. That arrangement creates three distinct light conditions across a single small plot, and each one suits different crops.<\/p>\n<h3>Zone A \u2014 Shade, directly under the panels<\/h3>\n<p>Lettuce, spinach, lovage. Fast-cycling leafy crops that are perfectly happy out of direct sun \u2014 in a Vojvodina summer, happier than they would be in the open.<\/p>\n<h3>Zone B \u2014 Semi-shade<\/h3>\n<p>Mint, basil, lemon balm, rocket, radish, spring onion. The herbs and quick roots that want light but not relentless heat.<\/p>\n<h3>Zone C \u2014 Full sun, beyond the panel edge<\/h3>\n<p>Cherry tomatoes, peppers, courgettes. The crops that need everything the sun will give them.<\/p>\n<p>The zoning is not decoration. It is the reason a plot of this size produces a genuine variety rather than nine square metres of the same lettuce.<\/p>\n<h2>The Garden Box \u2014 Optional, and Separate Again<\/h2>\n<p>Membership gives you the plot. The <strong>Jardini\u00e8re<\/strong> is what turns that plot into food arriving at your door, and it is a separate optional subscription:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u20ac20 per month, or \u20ac240 per year.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>18 deliveries a year<\/strong>, roughly every 20 days through the growing season.<\/li>\n<li><strong>4\u20136 items per box.<\/strong> About 80% comes from your own plot; the remaining 20% from local producers \u2014 honey, eggs, potatoes, onions, carrots.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Delivered by electric vehicle<\/strong>, to Novi Sad and Belgrade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two things to be clear about. Delivery covers <strong>Novi Sad et Belgrade seulement<\/strong> \u2014 if you live elsewhere, the plot is still yours but the box is not practical. And Garden Box pricing is <strong>set each Q4 for the following year<\/strong>, because what a box costs depends on a growing season nobody can price eighteen months ahead. Cancellation works on the same cycle: once a year, in Q4, effective from the following year.<\/p>\n<h2>Why Only 500 Members<\/h2>\n<p>Because there are 500 plots. The number comes from the land, not from a marketing decision about scarcity. One solar installation, a finite area beneath and around it, 3\u00d73 metres each.<\/p>\n<p>It does mean membership is genuinely limited, and that when the phases open the places will not last indefinitely. But the cap is a physical constraint being described, not a pressure tactic.<\/p>\n<h2>How This Relates to the Solar Project<\/h2>\n<p>Physically: the same land, the same site, the same project team. Your plot is on the solar farm, under and around real panels feeding real electricity into the grid.<\/p>\n<p>Financially: they are separate. Membership fees fund the community and garden side \u2014 the plots, the cultivation, the events, the delivery. A \u20ac200 community membership is a consumer purchase with a clear deliverable. Investors who also want a plot simply do both things: participate in a funding phase through the authorised platform, and take up membership separately. Site visits, workshops and community events are a core part of what membership is for.<\/p>\n<h3>What happens to my membership if the solar project is delayed?<\/h3>\n<p>The garden and the power plant are on the same site, so timing is connected in practice even though the money is not. Members are notified directly of any change to plot allocation or the delivery schedule.<\/p>\n<h3>What if the project never goes ahead?<\/h3>\n<p>Then you are not charged.
