How Solar Plus Garden Works
Solar Plus Garden is not a subscription box. It is not just a solar investment. It is a model where the same land produces clean energy and grows your food — and you are a member of both.
Here is exactly how it works.
The 5 Steps

- Become a Community Member — one-time €200 membership fee to secure your plot
- Your 3×3m plot is assigned and planted — cultivated in your name on the solar site
- Add the Garden Box subscription — pricing confirmed each Q4 for the following year
- Enjoy deliveries and community — 18 boxes per year, events, visits, family days
Your Garden Plot — 3×3 Metres of Real Land
Every member gets a dedicated 3×3m plot on the Solar Plus Garden site. The land uses a model called agrivoltaïsme — solar panels and food production on the same ground, nothing wasted.
The plot is divided into three growing zones based on sunlight:
Zone A — Shade (Under the Panels)
Cool and shaded beneath the solar panels. Fast-cycling leafy crops: lettuce, spinach and lovage. Dense, green and quick to harvest.
Zone B — Semi-Shade
The strip between panels. High-value herbs and greens: mint, basil, lemon balm, rocket, radish and spring onion.
Zone C — Full Sun (Beyond the Panel Edge)
Open ground in full sunlight. Summer crops: cherry tomatoes, peppers and courgettes, planted from the panel edge outward.
Corridors between panel rows stay open for walking and access. Your plot is maintained by the Solar Plus Garden team — you do not need to be there for it to grow.
The Garden Box — What Gets Delivered
Members with an active Garden Box subscription receive a delivery every ~20 days — 18 times per year. Each box contains 4 to 6 items:
- 80% from your plot — harvested directly from your 3×3m garden
- 20% from trusted local producers — honey, eggs, potatoes, onions, carrots
All deliveries are made by electric vehicle. Current delivery coverage: Novi Sad and Belgrade.
Box contents change with the growing season. Spring brings leafy greens. Summer brings tomatoes and peppers. Autumn brings root vegetables.
Pricing
Community Membership — €200 (one-time)
Secures your 3×3m garden plot. Includes access to all community events — barbecues, workshops, educational visits. Free coffee and tea on-site.
Garden Box Subscription
An optional add-on to your membership. Pricing is set each Q4 for the following calendar year. Cancellation is available once per year — submitted in Q4, effective from the start of the following year.

Why Agrivoltaics?
Most solar sites are fenced off. Empty land under panels, no access, no community. Solar Plus Garden uses that land differently. The panels generate clean electricity for the grid. The same land grows food for members. One site. Two outputs. One community connected to both.

Is there any obligation when I register?

Do I need to visit the garden to receive deliveries?
No. Your plot is managed by the Solar Plus Garden team. Deliveries come to you. Visits are available and encouraged, but not required.
When is the Garden Box price confirmed?
Pricing is set each Q4 for the following calendar year. You will receive full details before committing to the next year.
Can I cancel my Garden Box subscription?
Yes — once per year. Cancellation must be submitted during Q4, effective from the start of the following year.
Is delivery available outside Novi Sad and Belgrade?
In the current phase, delivery is available in Novi Sad and Belgrade only.
What is in a box?
Each box contains 4–6 items: 80% fresh vegetables from your plot, 20% from local producers (honey, eggs, root vegetables). Contents follow the growing season.
Is this connected to the solar investment?
